PokeSummit is a one-person store in Melbourne selling sealed Japanese Pokémon TCG products. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what we do not do.
What you give us
- When you send an order by email, we get what you write — typically your name, delivery address, contact details and the boxes you want. We use it only to quote, pack, ship and support your order.
- If you ask to be notified when an out-of-stock set is back, we keep the email address you leave, which set it's for and when you asked, until that notice is sent — or 180 days, whichever comes first. Every notice carries an unsubscribe link; confirming it deletes the address.
- The public site has no accounts and no logins — nothing to sign up for beyond that optional waitlist email.
What your browser keeps
- Your basket and your theme choice are saved in your own browser (local storage). Apart from the anonymous aggregate counts below — and a waitlist email if you leave one — nothing is sent to us until you email your order list.
- We count anonymous, aggregate usage — which sets get viewed, baskets started, waitlist signups and which filters get used — in our own first-party database. No cookies, no visitor IDs, no IP storage; nothing is shared with anyone.
- No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking cookies.
Who processes things for us
- The site is served and protected by Cloudflare.
- Email reaches us through our mailbox provider.
- When you pay, payment is handled by a payment provider (for example Stripe or PayPal). Card details go to them directly — we never see or store your card number.
- Our Facebook page is linked from the footer and Contact page. It is a plain outbound link — nothing is shared with Meta unless you choose to click through.
The admin dashboard
- Only the store operator signs in to a small private dashboard (using Google sign-in) to manage sourcing and prices. It holds no customer data.
Keeping and deleting
- Order emails are kept only as long as needed to run the store and meet Australian tax and record-keeping rules, then removed. Waitlist addresses are deleted on unsubscribe, or automatically after 180 days.
